Just another let-your-muse-out manip I've been thinking about for a while,but I didn't put a whole lot of effort into it because..well just because.
The story behind it is the horse is Father Time,who carries a time-keeping device with him as he travels the world.I'm rereading "The Sight",and I mixed a few ideas from the book in with this. The glowing ball is the tangible form of the horse's soul.He sends it out to search for those who are due a visit from Father Time,the markings glowing on him while in this state.Once in this state,he can look into the minds of others,and also look deep inside himself to search for a higher truth.Mortals fear him,for he is time itself.In his presence,all sense of time is lost,although his old age and wisedom is comforting.
